Alister brings his extensive experience in food safety, quality assurance, training, and assessment to his role as trainer-assessor with TQMS. He has worked in technical and management roles in small and large businesses including Goodman Fielder, Allied Mills, Bunge Bioproducts, CSL, Borgcraft, Baxters Foods, Solemio and Sundown Foods. In the last 10 years, Alister has been working in the food industry as a trainer and as a consultant for Abco Solutions, a consultancy business in quality assurance, food safety and compliance, both providing a wide exposure to the food industry.

Alister provides training in high volume baking, food processing, confectionary and seafood processing. He gets a thrill from seeing the variety of processes and businesses in motion  in the food industry. Alister gets a strong sense of satisfaction from contributing to people improving their skills and knowledge.

In his free time Alister is a keen cyclist and likes to explore the Australian countryside or overseas destinations like Scotland and New Zealand on two wheels. He is currently the secretary of Melbourne Bicycle Touring club.
